Tami Wood - assemblage, mixed media

A True Creative Force.

Chaparral member Tami Wood transforms lovingly collected and rescued objects into striking works of art. With years of experience salvaging abandoned oddities from walking paths, uncovering hidden gems in thrift stores, and turning trash into treasure, Tami has developed a keen eye for texture, balance, and color. Her creations are bold yet heartfelt—often radiating messages of love, joy, and resilience.

Tami’s work is accessible and meaningful, offering affordable gifts for all. Her January exhibit was a vibrant celebration of spirit and spirituality, showcasing a radiant collection of talismans and crosses—each crafted in a unique style, each reflecting her joyful artistic voice.

Her assemblage creations were on display for the entire month of January 2025 at the Desert Hills Presbyterian Church in Yucca Valley.
