GENERAL MEETINGS
Chaparral Artists hold their general meetings at the Center for Healthy Generations Building at 57121 Sunnyslope in Yucca Valley.
We are holding meetings on the 2nd Monday of the month (none during summer months)
It is CURRENTLY permissible to gather and celebrate with food and drink. We have not brought back pot lucks yet, however.
We will always follow the gathering regulations that the Center for Healthy Generations is practicing (County regulations) regarding health. Practicing social distancing might be necessary at times. Wearing masks might be necessary at times. We respect those that wear masks to protect their loved ones.
PLANNED OUTINGS
Chaparral Artists puts thought into outings that the group can enjoy together. These outings might include visiting art galleries, zoos, preserves and art festivals. We want to share in experiencing art and inspiration together, and this collaboration means that our members need to make their voices heard at meetings. If you have suggestions for art-centric locations, please share them with us.
In general we meet at a predetermined location prior to the scheduled outing determine carpooling or caravan options. Anyone interested in participating any event MUST contact the Vice President and reserve a spot (contact numbers can be found in the printed directory available during monthly general meetings!). For some, the option to attend functions as a group can be helpful and fun, so let's keep this going!
