Membership

Membership to Chaparral artists comes with many perks that we hope support you in your creative journey.

• The FREE featuring of your two-dimensional creations. We can accommodate anywhere from 10 to 30 of your creations (subject to size) monthly on the dedicated walls of the Desert hills Presbyterian Church and the Center for Healthy Generations.
• We manage eight themed FREE members shows at Rainbow Stew where you are invited to show up to five of your creations.
• We organize field trips to interesting locations, sure to invigorate your artistic mindset while providing ample opportunity to capture, inspire, and offer subjects to create from. We know that venturing out to destinations like zoos and gardens, land preserves & State & National parks, or museums are there for all to visit on their own, but in a group of like-minded creators, the chance to experience them, to see them in a different light, is eye opening. We want to support each other, and in groups we can enjoy so many locations safely with spirit and joy!
• We feature a guest speaker / demonstrator at most of our General Meetings. During these demonstrations we are given an introduction to another's creative passion, introduced to a unique artform, and sometime we get a few moments of hands on time with the medium in question.
• AND our monthly newsletter, the Chaparral Sketch, goes out to hundreds of recipients across the United states. We invite you, as a Chaparral Artists member, to submit your voice, your vision, to these issues of the newsletter! Take this opportunity to share your creative insight, your poetry, your photography, and your experiences with a workshop you recently attended, with other artistic minds.
