Chaparral member Joan Scott delighted audiences with a vibrant and varied collection of her artwork throughout February 2025 at AquaFit in Yucca Valley. A versatile and accomplished creator, Joan’s artistry has been shaped by a lifetime of travel, creative exploration, and a rich academic background in the arts. Since her university years, she has embraced many different mediums, following wherever her creative impulses led.
This month’s exhibit highlighted the breadth of her talent, featuring soft pastel abstractions of landscapes, dynamic acrylic pours bursting with energy, bright and bold mixed media pieces, and smaller, more delicate works.
