Chaparral member Nancy Miehle offered another beautiful glimpse into her artistic world during February 2025 at the Desert Hills Presbyterian Church in Yucca Valley. Featuring one of her favorite mediums—oil—Nancy presented a striking collection of larger works that captured the essence of both local and distant landscapes. Her pieces included sweeping desert scenery, the movement of rolling beach waves, horses running free, a tranquil river, and a vibrant interpretation of the Grand Canyon.
Nancy’s art radiates warmth and accessibility, offering viewers a friendly and inviting perspective on the world around us. Her creations encourage a sense of serenity and inspire one to step outside and experience the beauty of nature firsthand. Bright, bold, and expansive, the large works she shared in February made the outdoors feel alive and within reach, transforming landscapes into scenes of wonder and calm.
