The featured Artist at AquaFit (Center for Healthy Generations) is Nancy Miehle. She is a favorite in the desert with her gentle desert scenes and extremely friendly animal representations. Another multi-media artists in our Morongo Basin, Nancy has a collection of oils, watercolor, and stained glass creations. Her style is soft yet demonstrates bold strokes. She enjoys a bright color pallet and is drawn to our surrounding desert scenes like many of our wonderful desert dwellers. Be sure to stop by!
Tami Wood is sharing a fantastic collection of assemblage creations at the Desert Hills Presbyterian Church until the end of December . Tami is a mixed media wonder – she creates using numerous flat materials as well as three-dimensional materials, and this display provides an excellent collection of small to mid-sized assemblage dimensional pieces. Her style is fun, exciting, quirky and bold. Stop by sometime in January before her work is gone!
