The Same but Different theme presents fun surprises around every corner. As we have explained in the past, the Same but Different show is perfect for members who attended the same workshop, where a single subject is attempted and where the results are creatively beautiful and absolutely different. Rarely do our members get to show off their workshop creations side-by-side, usually because the gallery puts a limit on workshop painted productions. But this theme also encourages members to plan ahead and attend group trips together, focusing on similar subjects so that they can share those subjects during this exhibit. And we don't stop there, because we enjoy it when creators share their own understanding of what same but different means when they bring in creative pieces highlighting different filters of the same image, reflective concepts found in nature, etc..
This Same but Different show will be on display until December 15 at Rainbow Stew in Yucca Valley, so stop on in and enjoy! As always, we hope you find the exhibit inspiring, and while you are there, take advantage of the shopping opportunities provided by the very inviting gift shop of unique and hand made local arts, crafts, and curios.
Same subject, gloriously different results
This members-only show was on display at Rainbow Stew in Yucca Valley between November 13 and December 15, 2021 and represents our always intriguing theme calling upon group discussion of similar subject matter, or self-understood representations of similar subject matter.
