Raini Armstrong - Watercolor Originals

In February, Raini Armstrong's exhibition of watercolors graced the walls of the Center for Healthy Generations, featuring a generous assortment of quarter-sheet original paintings. Raini's affection for the desert landscape shines through her artwork, which often serves as a canvas for her exploration of its myriad facets.

She tries to strike a delicate balance between soft, hazy backgrounds and detailed foregrounds all in the hope of creating a sense of depth and dimensionality.

Raini's preference for portraying desert skies with bold and vibrant colors, opting for hues that are rich and daring, capturing the essence of the ever-changing celestial canopy that stretches above the arid landscape.
